MOTHER’S DAY

Get ready for Mother’s Day with a makeup look you and your mom can both agree on. In this tutorial, Courtney glams Liz for a fun night out. Follow along to see how she creates the perfect, easy makeup for any Mother’s Day celebration.

STEP 01

Start out with your base. Liz is wearing a tinted moisturizer, but our Desert Island Duos® are designed to glide smoothly over anything from bare skin to full coverage foundation. Take your preferred Desert Island Duo® bronzer shade (Courtney is using Shade 5.5’s ‘Cocoa Kiss’) and swipe right above your cheekbones and below the hairline on your forehead. Add a touch to the bridge of your nose and swipe along the jawline for a sculpted effect. Blend with our Duo Brush Face.

STEP 02

Using our Coffee in Hand Palette and our Duo Brush Eye, take shade Blended along the crease for some added dimension, then top the eyelid with shade Oatmilk to brighten up the eyes. Courtney also adds the same shade to the inner corner of the eye for an extra brightening effect. Next, using our new Desert Island Duo® Shade 2.5 and our Duo Brush Face, Courtney taps the blush (shade Cool Girl) onto the cheekbones and over the nose bridge for a beautiful light pink flush. She also extends the darker shadow, along the outer edge of the lower lash line and blends it into a subtle wing. Add your mascara of choice to finish off the eyes.

STEP 03

Moving onto the lips, Courtney uses our Lip Definer in shade Medium and lightly lines the lips for added definition and an easy plumping effect. She then uses our Lip Liner in shade 1, On the Rose, and fills in the lips for color that won’t budge. She finishes the lips with our Lip Gloss in shade Wit for high volume shine that’ll last you all night. To complete the look, Courtney taps our Status stick in High Road Highlight along the nose and cheekbones for the perfect glowy finish.
